Meet Our Founder/Consultant
Dr Chidinma Therese Odaghara
One of the proudest achievements of my life has been becoming a Law lecturer and researcher after earning my Doctorate, despite significant personal and structural challenges. My academic journey was shaped by prolonged university industrial action, motherhood, caregiving responsibilities, and the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These circumstances inevitably affected opportunities for sustained research, collaboration, and scholarly dissemination. Rather than defining my career, however, they strengthened my resilience, determination, and commitment to career excellence.
In recent years, my career has gained significant momentum, evidenced by a growing portfolio of publications, expanding technical and advisory expertise, and increasing leadership in research, teaching, and practice-based initiatives. I have taught and conducted research in the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and Uganda, integrating research into curriculum design, innovative teaching, and student mentorship. My work focuses on developing research-informed legal education that addresses contemporary legal, regulatory, and societal challenges, while preparing students for professional success in an increasingly complex and evolving global environment.
As an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (AFHEA), I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student experience in higher education. Beyond academia, I am deeply passionate about widening access to education and creating opportunities for individuals to thrive across borders. This passion inspired me to establish Donarese Pathfinders, a global education and talent mobility company dedicated to connecting students, professionals, institutions, and employers with transformative educational, career, and international opportunities. Through both my academic and work experience, I strive to foster inclusive, innovative, and globally connected pathways that empower individuals, develop future leaders, and contribute meaningfully to society.
